Belanger’s Drive-In has been locally owned and operated since 1974! Located at 84 Main St, in Fairfield, Maine, Belanger’s Drive-In has always been a staple of the local community. In 2016, Joseph & Katie Goodwin purchased Belanger’s Drive-In to fulfill a lifelong dream and to continue the traditions that they grew up and enjoyed for many years.
Both Joseph & Katie grew up locally and graduated from Lawrence High School where they were high school sweethearts and were later married in 2004. Belanger’s Drive-In was Joe’s first high school job opportunity. From that opportunity, Joe and Kate were fortunate enough to develop a lifelong friendship with the previous owners. With many years of hard work, dedication, and sacrifice while raising two amazing kids, Joe and Katie were able to fulfill their dream of owning Belanger’s Drive-In. Their goal is to serve fresh food that people love to eat, in a clean, family friendly environment. One where customers can create great memories in for years to come!
Over the years, Belanger’s menu has expanded tremendously. With freshly breaded baskets that have exceptional flavor because of our very own breading that no one else has, fried foods, a wide variety of burgers freshly ground in-house, lobster rolls, wraps and salads, a full dairy bar that includes, 18 hard serve flavors, 18+ milkshake flavors, slushies, brownie treats, cyclones, dairy free Dole Whip, and of course soft serve ice cream.
We also have a long list of homemade items you can pick up, such as: spaghetti sauce, meatballs, soups, dynamite sauce, gravy, and coleslaw! And if that wasn’t enough, we also smoke our own meats, brisket, turkey, and pulled pork! The tradition of making homemade meat pies such as Tourtiere, Turkey, and Salmon still lives on. With our handmade crust and recipes that are decades old, it’s not a surprise that these pies sell consistently all year long, including thousands around the holidays. We even have some that are mailed across the country!
With the expansion of the menu, there’s something for everyone! Belanger’s Drive-In has become busier than ever, and now serves over 250,000 people every season! During the busier times of the year there’s a crew of up to 20 employees that take pride in achieving the same goals of creating smiles with smiles, and a clean safe environment for our customers. Our commitment to each other is to have a safe, fun environment to work in while striving to do better every day!
